E-Merge: Artistic Intersections of the Black Midwest was an in-person event that fostered community building, knowledge sharing, and curation. It took place on October 12, 2024 in Cleveland, Ohio at ThirdSpace Action Lab.

The FREE, inaugural event hosted by WITH(IN).DIGITAL served as a gathering space, community activation, and a portal celebrating Black Midwestern creativity and ingenuity. The goal of E-Merge was to emphasize the Black Midwest and cultivate regional pride for Black artists from or currently based in Cuyahoga County.

E-Merge featured an intergenerational artist dialogue between two Cleveland photographers, a live DJ, a curated zine, an art exhibition featuring works by Cleveland born or based Black artists, and the opportunity to contribute to an oral history archive.

E-Merge: Artistic Intersections of the Black Midwest was supported by The Satellite Fund, administered by SPACES and funded by The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts Regional Regranting Program.
